2011上海HRD安特卫普 “HRD奖”揭幕

Antwerp, October 17 , 2011 –“HRD Awards” is the world’s leading contest for contemporary diamond jewellery. On December 11, the finalists will be unveiled during a gala event in Shanghai.

The HRD Awards contest is organised by HRD Antwerp, co-organised by the Shanghai Diamond Exchange (SDE), sponsored by Kimberlite Diamond and supported by the Gem & Jewellery Trade Association of China (GAC).

安特卫普——“HRD奖”作为当今钻石珠宝的世界级领航赛事于2011年10月17日开幕。2011年12月11日，这场盛会将在上海揭幕最终获奖者名单。

“HRD奖”这场大赛是由HRD安特卫普组织，由上海钻石交易所合办，由金伯利钻石赞助，中国宝石和珠宝贸易协会支持的。

The HRD Awards 2011 competition aims to foster creative talent, extends the limits of modern diamond jewellery and translates avant-garde ideas and exclusive creations into trendsetting jewels.

The HRD Awards have proven to be a valuable stepping stone for young designers on their way to successful careers in the jewellery world.

The HRD Awards 2011 collection travels around the globe, which can be admired at major trade shows and diamond related events worldwide.

The theme of the 2011 competition, “You and Me” inspired designers from around the globe (54 countries). Ajury ofindustry experts selected 29 designs, out of a record number of 1,396 entries. These 29 finalists were then invited to create their jewellery item. Diamond and jewellery companies agreed to support this project by providing the diamonds and precious materials for these jewels.

A jury of international fame selected the five winning diamond jewels. These will remain top secret, until December 11, when they will be unveiled during a gala event in the Shangri-La hotel in Shanghai. The winner will be awarded with a cash prize of 10.000 US $, the other four finalists will obtain 2500 US $ each.

2011“HRD奖”的比赛目的是为了培养创造性的人才，扩展现代钻石首饰的限制，并将前卫的思想和独特的创作转换到潮流珠宝中。

珠宝界中，“HRD奖”已被认定为年轻设计师通往成功道路的有价值的进阶石。

2011“HRD奖”搜集了来自全球各地的资源，在主要的贸易展览和钻石相关的全球事件中这些资源得到他人的赏识。

2011年大赛的主题——“你和我”，其灵感来自于世界各地54个国家的设计师。行业专家组成的陪审团选出了29个设计，得出1396项纪录编号。这29位入围选手被邀请来创建自己的珠宝项目。钻石和珠宝公司同意为该项目提供钻石和珍贵材料以表支持。

国际知名陪审团选出了五个获胜的钻石珠宝，这些将会作为最高机密保留至12月11日，届时这场盛会将会在上海香格里拉酒店揭幕。获胜者将会获得一万美元的现金奖励，其他四个入围决赛的选手每人将会获得2500美元的奖励。
